Change Securities B.V. is an investment firm authorised and regulated by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and our Dutch office will serve as a strategic location for future growth of the whole Change Group. While currently in an exciting startup phase, our operations in the Netherlands are led by dedicated directors. We are seeking a talented Compliance Officer to help lay the groundwork for success as we scale our operations over the next few years.

As a Compliance Officer at Change Securities B.V., you will be instrumental in maintaining our firm’s integrity and reputation by ensuring adherence to MiFID II and other regulatory obligations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work closely with leadership to establish robust compliance frameworks and contribute to the growth of our operations in the Netherlands and more broadly in the EEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, and other regulations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their operational impact.
• Liaise with authorities and manage filings and reports.
• Develop and enforce internal compliance policies.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Oversee transaction reporting to ensure accuracy.
• Provide training on compliance policies.
• Advise on best practices and handle internal compliance queries.
• Oversee AML/CTF frameworks and KYC processes.
• Report suspicious activities as required.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Law, Finance, or related field, professional certifications are a plus.
• At least 3 years in a MiFID II-compliant environment or respective advisory service, proven expertise in EU financial regulations.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Ethical, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
• Knowledge or interest in crypto-assets and the respective market is an advantage.
