Change has been around longer than most fintechs you've heard of. Our Dutch entity was incorporated in Amsterdam in 2010, and we have been MiFID II authorised since 2015, a decade of operating as a regulated investment firm. Today we serve around 120,000 verified users across all 30 EEA countries, with full passporting rights, and we are MiCA-authorised as one of the early CASPs in the Netherlands.

We operate an app-based investment platform built for retail investors. Our users trade cryptocurrencies, alongside CFDs on stocks, indices, currencies, gold, oil and other financial instruments — all in one place, on mobile, with the regulatory protections of a Dutch investment firm.

We are a small senior team with a practical, low-bureaucracy culture. Compliance is part of how we build the company, not something added at the end. We value ownership, clear processes, strong judgement and real operational discipline over unnecessary ceremony.

We are looking for a hands-on Compliance Officer who understands how regulated businesses operate in practice, not just on paper.

What you will do

You will own the day-to-day compliance function across our MiFID and MiCA activities.

• Ensure our MiFID II and IFR/IFD obligations are properly embedded into day-to-day operations

• Maintain and improve AML/CFT and transaction monitoring processes

• Translate regulatory requirements into practical internal processes

• Support ongoing supervision and regulatory interaction

• Review product and feature changes before launch

• Manage day-to-day communication with AFM and DNB, including regulatory requests and supervision

• Ensure policies, implementation and operational reality stay aligned

• Help maintain and strengthen the firm’s regulatory standing

• Use strong internal judgement and involve external advisors only when truly needed

• Operate proactively in a fast-moving environment

• Work closely with product, legal and senior management teams

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of compliance or financial regulation experience

• Strong understanding of MiFID II and AML/CFT processes

• Experience working directly with regulators

• Ability to turn regulation into practical execution

• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment

Most importantly, you understand the gap between written policy and real operational behaviour — and you care about closing it.

Nice to have

• MiCA or crypto-related regulatory experience

• Familiarity with custody, Travel Rule or sanctions processes

• Experience in an AFM or DNB-supervised environment

• Dutch language skills are a plus
